went to the local pick-n-pull yard this weekend and walked the whole place looking for a iac motor. 90% of what i found were two wire iac motors. i found one four wire iac motor. i was mostly looking on fords.
the manual only shows wiring for four wire iac motors, do i need to get a four wire type iac motor or is it possible to use the two wire one? its no big deal to go get the four wire iac motor one.
this particular, and most of the two wires i seen, has a little air bleed knob on teh side.. im guessing thats what it is?

I'm running a 2-wire on the TECgt (3r will too). The manual has wiring directions around P33/34.

never mind i found it in the manual. i looked in back initially where it only refers to a four wire iac motor. after flipping through the manual i found where it spoke about the two wire iac.
BUT!!!!! haha
looking at the wiring diagram in back of the manual, there are four wires which are GP I/O's. Do i just take one of those four wires and use that on the two wire and just run 12v power to the other wire on the IAC?

Yes, GPI/O 3 in my case is configured to the 2-wire IAC. Don't forget the diode.
