Hi I am Matt Ive been working on a VW 16V turbo for some time now I am finally to the point of tuning it. I have no idea what I am doing but so far it has been as easy as the guide says it is to get up and running. Now I just got to get it to run right.

Welcome fellow VW owner. I have a 2L 16V Scirocco that I have been playing with. I Autocross it as well as my summer daily driver. I have replaced the fuel system with a Ross fuel rail with 30lb injectors and Autotech fuel pressure relief. I can get you my bin if you think it would help although I am running a TEC 2. I have just recently come across a timing table that was apperently published by VW for the 16V which has helped me a lot to confirm that I was using the correct settings. I am not comfortable using as aggressive of settings but mine are close. It is a jpg and I don't see a way to attach it to this reply and I don't anywhere to reference it from as of yet. I could email it to you if you would like.
