Electromotive had a preliminary copy of WinTEC4 for the TEC3r running at their booth at the PRI show. Beta testing is in process, so the countdown clock has been updated for the impending final released version. Hopefully, there will be more details in the early part of Janurary 2009!

I guess I'll be a good sport and put this put on it's own.

Jon,
The PRI show is right around the corner - how about an update on WinTEC4 for the TEC3r? Will EMI have it ready for the show? Inquiring minds want to know.

Bump, any word on this? I've been looking at the wintec4 software and really like the improvements over wintec3. Now if I could only use it with my TEC3!

sbrian2,
It will happen. I am going to the PRI trade show on Saturday and will check into it. EMI may be displaying a beta version it at the show this week.

sbrian2,
See the updated post at the beginning of this thread. The software is much slicker than WinTEC3 and will have some additional features over it's predecessor.

So is this going to be for the TEC3r only or will it work on the TEC3 purple box as well?

Yes it will work with ALL TEC3's. It's going to require a phyiscal upgrade at the factory and that upgrade will not be free. But it will give you considerably better injector control, better MAP resolution, more GPO and GPI functions, better monitoring and twice the datalogging space.
