Dear Jon,

I´ve changed the Magnetic sensor installed for Cam signal. (full sequential)
Now I´m using the Hall sensor again! (vane type)
Vcc= 5V from Tec gt (grey w/red stripe)
Signal= G23 (red)
Ground= G6 (black w/white stripe)

I realized last time after engine cranking that I didn´t received INTERMITTENT CAM SENSOR ERROR for short a period of time!
When this happened, I could observe "lean condition" and engine didn´t start!
So I added TOG (16) and IOT values!
...the engine started and runs smoother, so I was in Full sequential!!
...I thought problem was solved, but at next engine cranking "INT CAM SENSOR" again.

I now realize THIS CONDITION HAS HAPPENED TO ME MANY TIMES IN THE PAST!!

BTW:
I have 8mm MSD low resistance spark plug cables (red ones)...does this affect?

Thanks!
Hernán Muñoz

The low resistance MSD wires can definately cause problems. You want to have suppression core wires which will read over 1k ohms per foot. Look into Taylor or Magnicor wires. If you can call them, telling them that you have an Electromotive ignition will help them pick a good wire for you. GM HEI wires are also a very good choice that should be relatively cheap and easy to come by.

In fact MSD wires are 8,5mm super conductor wires (270 ohms per foot)

Now I ask for Accel cables and they told me the cables had about 1,500 ohms per foot!

Does this value reach the TEC GT requirements?

Because the TEC GT Manual says: carbon core style 3,000 to 5,000 ohms per foot.

Thanks!!

The Accel wire will be better than the MSDs. I think the Accel wires will be ok, but you'd bet better off with a set will a littler higher resistance. The higher that resistance is, the better the noise suppression will be.

Because of the very high voltages present in the secondary side of the ignition system, higher resistances are of little concern. The resistance of a 30,000 ohm wire is nothing compared to the 10+ Megaohm (that's 10,000,000+ ohms) that the spark plug gap represents.
