I have a problem, and i have had this problem even with the Tec2 i used to have.

I drive a R32GTR skyline with ITB. When on the dyno we map the car on low boost by running lock on different rpms up to around 5500-6000.
We do all the map point to around .8bar, and after that start to do pulls.

What happens is, when i drive my car on the street, i dont need that much throttle to get .5 / 1bar boost, and then the car is overfueling badly, its in mid to high 9`s afr. I then need to take out lots of fuel at that part of the ve table.

What am i missing here, or doing wrong? How can i get that part of the map better / perfect?

Asim

My first thought is that your TOG is too high. The slope the MAP sensor creates in the fuel curve is too steep so it's getting more fuel faster than needed.

What is your TOG now? What size are your injectors (and how many)? What kind of numbers are you expecting? What MAP sensor?

I think he's saying that the mixture in those load cells looked correct while on the dyno, but once on the street those same cells were too rich - is that correct?

How well-ventilated is the shop where you are doing your dyno pulls?

It has been my experience the road loads the engine more than a dyno. WOT was mapped on the dyno, however, adjustments were needed for some part throttle and transient areas of the map.

This is correct, when driving on the street the 110-190kpa part of the map becomes very rich.

Dyno room was not optimal, and temps became high during pulls, so we had to wait between pulls.

TOG looks to be fine, correction in the VE table is about 30% + -

TOG is 15ms
IOT 1.5ms
720cc Denso injectors
3bar mapsensor. dont know what brand.
Car made 586hp 680nm on all 4 wheels.

Its not about the full throttle part of the map, that is fine.
Its about the up to .6/7 bar part of the map.

Is there anyplace i can upload the bin file so you can have a look at it?
