no doubt guys, a broken TEC would not be a sufficient excuse
any mother-in-law or nagging wife excuse would be better, LOL
atleast we dont have a group of dumbasses spreading false information and bitching about taxes

I guess I'll add in. Havent spent much time on the car here lately as it has been nasty and cold out. Just before fall ended though I threw a Turbosmart raceport on the car and never had a chance to test it. Looking forward to that. Last week I mocked up an air dam that sat in my dads garage since 1987 because it didnt fit on his Pantera for s&*t. What do you know 20+ years later and it still doesnt fit a Pantera for s&*t. I have to do some cutting and pasting to get it molded in properly. Decided that was going to be my winter project. And for exciting Christmas news my wife bought me dyno time for my present. Damn I have a good wife!! So straight out of winter im going to Zensport for some much needed tuning. Who knows maybe I will be tuning with Wintec4 .

I dunno - I thought that looked like a pretty cool project.

I love the TS raceport. The sleeper series is pure sex. Im up for hearing some stories guys. Lets not make it a tech discussion though for obvious reasons. Id had figured there would be some newsetup threads or something. Yea Im glad there arent any immature members on here like on other sites. Nef we gotta get that race car done. So close...

Us VW aircooled guys are just about getting the engines finished up and getting to laying out the wiring on the turbo car. We are new to the EFI world and are going with TECGT's. Deans engine will be 2276cc turbo and My engine will be 2960cc efi nitrous. I mocked up the turbo block this weekend and waiting on new heads for the nitrous motor.
We are really looking forward to learning the new system......

Ok the future race car (95 SC2) is getting a stock swapped engien in it for me to drive while the currently blown up 1998 SC2 goes under knife to get things straight. Anybody got anything? I figured I'd kinda keep this "going" so to speak.

Here's a quick pic of my '96 Pontiac Sunfire Convertible. Fully built motor GT3076r turbo. Currently running 330fwhp 300tq on 15lbs of boost and E-70 fuel. Tuned on a DynoDynamics load cell...

I'm building an '86 Mr2 for CSP Autocross. The engine is built (to stock spec except for the adjustable cam wheels). I've finished the grunt work on the suspension (need some bolts though). Now I need to design and build the intake and exhaust, install the TECgt, redo the brake lines, redo the interior with my lightening mods and possibly rewire the rest of the car. I'll see about posting some pictures the next time I have a chance to get to the shop and work on it.
Needless to say, I've got a lot to do yet.

Sounds like what we did to Nef's car except his engine is already fully built. HUGE LIST...
Looking good fellas!
