Are you talking about the sensor or the wheel?
Pretty much any two wire magnetic sensor should be OK, but some are better than others. I don't know anything about the moroso sensor, but I bet it's intended for a flying magnet setup. Probably four pulses per rev. To use it with the 60-2 you'll need to be sure tha you're using a relatively large trigger wheel, probably 7+ inches. Also, with 60 teeth on the crankshaft, a shielded signal wire is a really good idea.
If you're talking about a different trigger wheel, no, you need to use 60-2.

I can't see any reason why you can't use it. I does not appear to have a shielded cable, so you might have some trouble there. But if you route neatly and away from pretty much everything else, it should work fine.

I just purchased another OEM crank sensor and am using it as my sensor for the 60-2 wheel. One nice feature of doing this, is that I always have a spare sensor mounted in the OEM location that I could rob. My car is a '94 Probe GT, same as the Mazda MX-6 under the sheet metal. I think I'm using about a .060 gap.
