Looking at attached image, if I put the hall sensor where it says cam sensor, and also put a iron metal tooth in the same place, but on the cam gear, this will be right, correct?
I was hoping to put this thing together today, can someone please give me a hand with this question (:beg)
Hi Joel... I think you've got it right - with the engine at #1TDC on the compression stroke, the cam sensor and notch (or tooth) should have the relationship shown in the pic. You get quite a bit of leeway - the sensor can be anywhere from 3 deg to 90 deg before TDC on the cam.
